Hi all, Sorry to tell tt we are not satisfied at all Hotel giving bad impression of tourism in Virginia Beach Rooms, restaurant in dirty conditions particularly an Indian Guy pic of the restaurant whom is really pathethic Fyi Animals are accepted in rooms For sure I will not go back to this hotel
We loved the beautiful pool, the hot breakfast, and the quiet surroundings. The room was very nice; we throughly enjoyed the refrigerator and microwave. We were extremely pleased with the quality for the price.
The walk to the beach was a little bit long in the heat, but it was so nice to be in a quiet area at night.
The pool wasn't clean. I got water in my mouth and it tasted exactly like the ocean. It was disgusting! Also, our room had a strange odor. The shower had a mind of its own and changed temperatures by itself. In the middle of your shower, it goes ice cold, scortching hot and back to where you set it. Frig and microwave were falling apart.
The hotel was filthy. I would have been disgusted to show up as a college spring breaker. We were in a smoking room and asked for non-smoking. There was trash under the bed. We found a used condom on our front stoop in the morning when we were loading the car. The toilet seat was disgusting. There was mold on the sink handle. The door wasn't very secure. The curtains need replacing. The carpet was filthy. I can go on and on....
The Indian restaurant is absolutely excellent; fresh delicious food in a cozy, friendly environment. Location is 5 blocks from the beach, but right off Hwy 264. Not a luxury hotel, but nice for family or couple. I was there by myself, walked to and from the beach through a pleasant neighborhood. No safety concerns. My room was very quiet, even though the hotel was full of guests.
It was a little too far from the beach, but manageable.
The hotel was a good 8-10 minute walk from the ocean front which was nice it kept us away from beach front/ocean side noises. Nice clean surroundings.
Well, where do i start? First their breakfast just sucked! it seemed like they are going broke. The staff was brining very little quantities of food for a large number of people and and after just 1.5 hours they were out of food. You would think they ought to be prepared for the memorial day weekend, i guess they were not. Second the manager i think, kept doubting us about the number of people in our room despite us telling him repeatedly. He even forced the extra persons charge, can you believe that? !! I told him that the remainder of our fmily is checked in at the Best Western near the ocean front and we just group together over here ( which was a mistake) and then go together to the beach. Hell isnt that what family's do? stick together? And third the room flush did not work. i can go on and on but i think you get the message: try to avoid this hotel!!
There were no sink or bath plugs ,stale breakfast cereals and bread
The hotel management was incredibly helpful and friendly. I was in town for a marathon and they happily extended my checkout time to accommodate me.
5 blocks from the beach.
Stayed over labor day weekend. Paid $269, charged almost $400. No, no issues with the room, they just screwed up. The rooms are much, MUCH smaller than advertised. The A/C leaked in the room. Other than that it resembled a budget hotel. Never again.
Run down, old/beat up appliances, ugly, no early breakfast for marathoners even when you pay $249/night plus taxes
I liked that it was close to the beach but not at the beach with so many people around. I loved the pool and the size of the pool. It looked much smaller in photos but it was really great to have a pool and a beach within walking distance. The room was much larger than expected. The cleaning staff was very nice and friendly. Breakfast was decent. Perfect for our budget.
I did not like that the pool area did not have seating/lounge chairs. Also, the pool could use more chlorine.
It was away from the beach front it was quiet.
The "breakfast"-- had a lot to be desired. No variety, wait for refills on food trays.
The bathtub & sink didn't drain well. I was standing in 6 inches of water when I took a brief shower. The in tub bath mat was stained/dirty. The hair dryer didn't work.
It wasn't as clean and room service was terrible
The location was good
Room was spacious and clean. Liked the convenience of having a microwave oven and a mini refrigerator.
The door to the room was extremely hard to close. The continental breakfast was a fine perk, but the selection left much to be desired.
